Everyone's Travel Club took the adventure/inflatable kayak show on the road a few weeks ago. We enjoyed paddling the crystal clear waters of Lake Chelan in Eastern Washington.
The lake is long, deep, & cold...the weather was hot. We drove through the German town Leavenworth on the way (you know, one of those pretend German towns in the mountains of the US).
After about a 3 hour drive from Seattle we arrived at the lake.
After a little meet and greet with some friends we headed down to the dock and put the 3 Innova kayaks together (that's right, we've added another kayak to the club - 1 Helios II and 2 Safaris).
Pretty nice for a stinkpot:)
I'm pretty sure our stop here is on private land...no worries.
F.Y.I. - lake still cold in the summer (but swimmable...barely).
Here's our final view of the lake from Echo Ridge...back to the city!
